Vale Park is a small park of under 10 acres (very
roughly 170 metres x 200 metres). It is managed by the Leisure
Services Department of Wirral Borough Council.
It sits on the Wirral bank of the River Mersey at New Brighton,
and is the perfect spot for a day out. Let the children loose on
the swings and slides, have a meal in the café, sit and watch
the ships on the river. Benches everywhere, but particularly
around the flower displays and in the Rose Garden.
On Sunday afternoons during the summer months there are folk
concerts and brass bands playing at the Bandstand. A children's
show is put on during the summer school holidays.
